Abstract

REPLY TO POPE FRANCIS’ MESSAGE FOR CHILDREN

Dear Pope Francis,

Let me hope all is going on well in Vatican .

I have written this letter to let you know that I am very happy for the wonderful message you sent to us. We were so happy to receive it and it was so interesting to me.

In all what I read, I learnt to care about others and to love one another. When I read further, I realised that some children in this world suffer with diseases. I thought of becoming a doctor or a nurse to go and treat those children who are suffering from the many diseases. I felt so hurt for those children.

Some parents prevent their children from going to learn. Others live on streets, I asked me why people produce children and torture them. That is why some people when they are on earth, they forget God. I think we should not be happy all ourselves when others are suffering. Our joy increases to the extent we share it.

If I were a sister, I would go and collect all lame children, the blind and others and I pray for them and care for them. I pray for the fight against child mistreatment in the world.

When I grow up and become a teacher, I will be teaching those children who are denied chance to go to school by their parents. For sure when I grow up and God helps to become what I dream, I will thank him.

I humbly thank you pope Francis for the wonderful message you sent to us, it has improved some of our minds and I am sure that we will also continue putting your advice in practice. I pray that God continues to give you big, good things and blessings.

Amen.

Yours faithfully,

Kirigoola Midrade
